Very good Palatinate food, you can tell that high quality food was used throughout

Here the quality is right for the price, even when you pick it up and have it delivered, the shutters and goose legs, gladly again. The meatloaf and the liver were also great for the price.

We ordered food on Christmas Day and had it delivered. It was delivered on time. It was very delicious. Highly Recommended. Thank you for the delicious food.

Wonderful authentic Palatinate cuisine - good wines to go with it. Of course you shouldn't expect light food - it's hearty and with good ingredients. Maybe needs a schnapps afterwards - but the landlord has good goods for that too.

Seldom eaten such good roulades. It's a shame that I only have one stomach. The service was super nice, so that the whole thing was an all-round successful evening. I can only recommend it.

We went there on the recommendation of our hostess. We wanted to eat something typically Palatinate and were not disappointed. From the starter to the dessert, everything was great. That's why we are happy to give 5 stars!

Super good restaurants with very tasty and appealing dishes with a wide variety of classic and regional dishes. Very nice ambience with great and friendly staff. My family and I felt very comfortable and have already recommended it to others. It is definitely worth a visit!

Got a place yesterday without a reservation, which is rather unusual. Great menu with Palatine dishes such as beef roulade, cabbage rolls, liver dumplings, trout, hand cheese, etc. Vegetables come from the weekly market, meat from the Hampel butcher's shop. Well selected wines. Had meatballs with horseradish sauce. fresh horseradish and nice and hot. Nice restaurant with super friendly service. Top. Prices are moderate and we definitely came back. Great.

We were served very friendly and competent after a short-term telephone reservation. The Saumagen with fried potatoes was great. The small outside courtyard offers a relaxed and neat atmosphere. The price-performance ratio is good.

Nice restaurant. Very good local food. The wine was good as well. Even if the menu was just in german, the waiter was so kind and he spoke to us in English. Definitely we will go back. On the other hand the ratio quality/price is ok.

I had the Leberknoedel and my wife had the Baurenbratwurst. There is only one word to describe them--sagenhaft! Service was wonderful, prices very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. If you want to have a real german dining experience--this is the place to go.

Lovely restaurant with authentic local German food. Comfortable and cosy place with friendly and helpful staff. I had the typical dish "Maultaschensuppe" for a starter, more than excellent. Main dish: the 330 gram Rumpsteak, which was grilled to perfection. Unexpected delight: the salad, which was delightfully fresh and came with a more than fabulous dressing. If you are looking for a place where hospitality and clean and wonderful cooking are top of the bill, this is your destination.

Very welcoming atmosphere and the service was great and friendly. The schnitzel is phenomenal. It was tender and I could cut it with my fork. Probably the best schnitzel I’ve ever had.

Very good dinner. Started with the soup with liver dumplings and moved on to the traditional schnitzel with chips. I followed the advice of the knowledgeable owner for the wine and was happy with the recommendation. All local wares and wines. Shy but friendly service, passionate advice from the owner. It was exquisite schnitzel - bar none. The pomme fritz were just heavenly, not greasy, fresh, light, crisp on the outside and that lovely soft mealy inside. I had a salad that was fresh and delicious and just water - but I understand this place is well known for it's wine. The reason why I give it a 4 instead of a 5 star is because I felt the young man who waited on me was perhaps just a bit condescending. Call it cultural differences - or not - the other wait staff there, worked behind a bar and she was delightful. She brought out my water, salad, and cheese and grapes, and took an additional order for coffee (because I could not seem to catch his eye). She hovered a bit and was just sweet. He, on the other hand seemed not at all interested in me - but definitely fawned over a pair of German gentlemen who came in after me. So...imagination? Maybe? His service wasn't horrible only because the bartender came out and took care of me, as well. I like to think I read people well - and have been to Germany before - so I'm thinking he either thought I was American trash - or he simply preferred gentlemen. I made sure she got half the tip. :-)
